Sarasota, Florida – January 25, 2016 – The Science and Environment Council, in partnership with the Florida Beverage Association (flabev.org), will add two new tour stops to the community’s Mobile Phone Watershed Audio Tour and extend the popular program through 2017. The Audio Tour (www.watershedtour.org) celebrates highlights of our watersheds while providing interesting facts and suggestions for easy ways to help protect our waters.
The tour includes 30 stops at spectacular natural places and environmental attractions and is accessible by dialing (941) 926-6813.While the tour can be accessed from anywhere, visiting the featured locations across Sarasota and Manatee Counties provides listeners an up-close and personal experience. The audio tour encourages people to get outside and explore – to exercise their brains and their bodies –and celebrate Florida waters!

The grant is jointly funded by the Florida Beverage Association and the American Beverage Foundation for a Healthy America. “The FBA and its member companies are committed to improving the communities where we live, work, and play,” DeWitt said.
